And When I Die...

What do you want to be remembered for?

Simple question... when you have thrown off this mortal coil... what do you want to have as the thing you are remembered for?

I look forward to the answers...

When I was younger, I wanted to be remembered for something. Now, it doesn't matter to me at all. I'm not going to be here to see it, it's not going to benefit me in any way, so it doesn't really matter to me if I'm remembered or not.

I can go all sentimental on this one but I'll say....my ability to make people feel good about themselves?

Hopefully, young adult novels about the Asian American experience. But that's just this decade. Next decade? Who knows?

I've always felt that you live as long as somebody can remember your smile or the sound of your voice or the words you've written. So I keep making music.

Quin -

I love Bud's comments above.

For me I would like to be remembered for instilling in those around me the importance of boundaries and love.

I don't have an answer to your question.. because I can't see anything of myself being worth remembered for.

There'll be a post about this at my page. Maybe long, maybe short. I've been thinking.

I apologize. I didn't know that blogger was so narcissistic that it would change my link.

I want people to say, "That Christy, she's really pulled it out of the dumpster before the end!"

(My life, I mean.....I am not homeless in this scenario...)
