Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is past, thank goodness.

I've never been one for this 'holiday'.... if you can't show me I'm special during the year, don't bother on one day assigned, based on some poor martyr.

I spent mine in a perfect fashion... letters to and from the Oddship, a hugely amusing dinner with MB and HB, eating England's national dish--a good curry.... and some films afterwards, while we chatted and laughed.

I don't begrudge Valentine's Day, I simply want it to be a day, and yes, I'll make a special meal, I'll buy a card, I'll do the stuff if you want it done.

I'd just prefer if you don't.

Our Neville Fact:

He noticed Flick's tape, and asked, "What in the world are you doing, you silly moo!!"

They still aren't speaking.

Husband and I got pizza and baklava, and then pretty much stayed at home. It was a nice day. we don't need Hallmark to tell us how to spend it. :)

The Kid just loves Japanese-style and Indian curry now, but he still doesn't like his vegetables.

Ah yes, romance should be every day, shouldn't it?

I'd show her she was special, everyday.

My family left me all alone in Australia on Valentine's Day. My mom and dad cried as they got in the car leaving me at my new "home". I dunno whether that this is the best Valentine's Day ever seeing that I know that there are people who loves me, or the worst knowing that the people who loves me best were leaving me.

I still can't decide.
